Ji has an exquisite gift for creating sacred spaces with a deeply peaceful, calm quality- a safe place to gradually and gently open ourselves to our own histories of pain, beauty, and courage. She interwove modalities of sound, exquisite visuals of the Five Elements from Korean acupuncture theory, initiatory mandalas, movement, and experiences in nature. As our guide and teacher, Ji's empathic nature and sensitivity to subtle spiritual and emotional energies invited our small group of wide-ranging ages to journey deeply into pain, joy, and new discovery of self.

Through Ji's 100 Days of Loving Myself program, I discovered something I hadn't realized: how disconnected I had become from the natural world and how deeply I longed to belong to it again. As Ji wove her devotion to the Korean Five Elements with movement and various expressive arts practices, the elements gradually became alive and relational to me, helping me experience myself not as separate from nature, but as part of it. I'm deeply grateful for the care and devotion Ji brought to creating a container that allowed this remembering to unfold in me.

Ji’s workshop was a powerful, beautiful experience for me. I feel that somatic expression is as supportive of good health as exercise and nutritious food. Taking time to focus on myself and explore my feelings, thoughts, and physical state is so nurturing, and allows more vitality in the way I live my life. Ji created a safe, supportive space, while also teaching us many ways to be aware of and sensitive to ourselves. I am grateful for the many tools I now have to use on my own from the work we did together.
